菲尔的打鼓岁月起始于他五岁时的圣诞礼物：一套玩具鼓。菲尔全心全意投入鼓的练习，稍后他的叔叔便替他买了一套更精细的鼓供他练习。当他还是个青年时，鼓技已经可以说是职业级的。他的演出生涯早已起步，主要是担任童星以及模特，比较特别的演出包括出现在披头士乐团的电影一夜狂欢中（不过，保罗告诉菲尔说他始终不相信这件事情柯林斯在报纸上得知创世纪乐团正在招募成员，经过一连串的测试顺利地录取（菲尔在听过先前不同鼓手所演奏的部分后，自己将其重新编织起来，令乐团的成员们惊艳）。

一直很喜欢PHIL COLLINE那沙沙，细细的声音
本来是想推荐他的《DO YOU REMEMBER》，因为今天晚上煲了一晚上的箱子，这首歌煲箱子蛮合适的，想想有可能不是每个人都喜欢，所以还是分享一首他的精典之作吧 《anotherday in paradise》,有兴趣的朋友可以自己找来听听《DO YOU REMEMBER》
PHIL的声音也是一直留在我电脑里面不会删掉的声音
每次听到歌词里描述的女人，心里总有些酸酸的
男人与女人，人与人？
